Notice of Cancellation / No-Show Policy

Time is a very limited commodity… Once lost, it cannot be regained. Hands of Dawn Massage works by appointment only, and as such is a time-dependent business. When a client fails to make their appointment, that time slot is unavailable for another client in need. Therefore, please take a moment to read and understand our policies regarding late arrivals, cancellations, and no-shows.

Late Arrivals

Hands of Dawn promises all appointments will be on time and complete. Therefore, if you are late for an appointment, it may be necessary to shorten your massage in order to finish at the originally appointed time. That way your late arrival affects only you and not the person scheduled after you. This is only fair.

Likewise, if for any reason Hands of Dawn is late for an appointment and needs to reduce the length of your massage as a result, your service will be half price. We believe this is also fair.

Cancellations / Changes

If you find it necessary to cancel or change an appointment, please allow at least 24 hour prior notice. Any changes or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at half price, payable before your next visit may be scheduled. However, should a substitute be found to fill your appointment, no charge will be made for that missed appointment.

Likewise, if for any reason we need to cancel an appointment, Hands of Dawn agrees to give you 24 hour notice or your next session is half price. We believe this is fair to both parties.

No-Shows

A missed appointment, with no prior notice, will be considered a no-show, and will be charged full price for the service, payable before your next session may be scheduled.

Likewise, if for any reason Hands of Dawn were to no-show for an appointment, with no prior notice, your next session would be free. We believe this is fair to both parties.

Special Notes

Please note that gift certificates, coupons, and other special offers are voided by failing to make your appointment or cancelling without sufficient notice.

Repeated cancellations or no-shows will be assessed on a case by case basis, and may require clients to pay in advance for services.

Hands of Dawn understands that life is complicated and sometimes unexpected things happen. Therefore, in the event of reasonable life emergencies, Hands of Dawn may choose to waive this policy at their discretion. We will do our best to work with you in this case.

Please understand that this policy is in place to encourage common courtesy for all parties involved. Fortunately this policy has never been abused, and most clients have voluntarily paid for their missed appointments without a reminder from us. It is an awkward situation to have to enforce this policy, but it is part of business. We promise at all times to treat you with respect and fairness and appreciate when you do the same with us. Should you feel that this policy is unreasonable, please feel free to discuss it with us at any time.
